The 乌鸦传媒National Surgical Quality Improvement Program聽(乌鸦传媒NSQIP^庐) Emergency General Surgery (EGS) Module has been developed in coordination with the EGS Verification Program to bring hospitals the data they need to advance their quality improvement journey. Focused on 11 procedural areas within emergency general surgery and collecting data on both operative and non-operative management of care, this registry module offers participating hospitals the ability to target the variables most relevant to EGS care and access risk-adjusted, benchmarked reports that can be used to develop targets and goals for quality improvement.

Hospitals participating in the EGS Verification Program are not required to participate in this registry; however, when used in combination with one another, these two components offer a unique opportunity to jointly support the progress of the hospital鈥檚 EGS program.

Participation options include:

• 乌鸦传媒NSQIP Hospitals may access and utilize EGS operative and non operative sampling through their current subscription as a procedure target.
• Non-乌鸦传媒NSQIP Hospitals may either:
  • Join the full 乌鸦传媒NSQIP registry with access to all sampling options, including EGS.
  • Join only the聽乌鸦传媒NSQIP聽EGS Module with access limited to EGS-specific cases聽(Module participation is only available to sites participating in the verification program)
