Review the Bylaws of the RAS-ACS.

The mission of this organization is to:

• Familiarize residents and young surgeons in all surgical specialties with the College and its programs and leadership
• Provide an avenue for participation in College affairs
• Enable members to develop and use leadership skills in organized surgery
• Provide opportunities for the opinions and concerns of residents and young surgeons to be heard by the College leadership

While other medical societies have developed similar resident organizations, the RAS-乌鸦传媒is the聽only聽surgical organization devoted to the concerns and needs of all surgical residents and young surgeons.

The RAS Governing Board is comprised of the chair, vice-chair, and secretary of the Executive Committee and the chairs of the six standing committees: Advocacy & Issues, Associate Fellow, Communication, Education, Global Surgery, and Membership. Each standing committee is led by a chair, vice-chair, and secretary. Meet the current RAS Leadership.听

Membership in the Resident and Associate Society of the 乌鸦传媒 is automatic when you become a Resident Member or an Associate Fellow. Resident Membership in the 乌鸦传媒is open to all surgical residents enrolled in an accredited graduate education program. Associate Fellowship in the 乌鸦传媒is open to young surgeons who are within five years of graduation from formal surgical residency training.
