Residents: Apply for Leadership & Advocacy Summit Travel Award by Nov. 14

The ÎÚÑ»´«Ã½is offering a limited number of scholarships to US-based ÎÚÑ»´«Ã½Resident members who are interested in attending the 2025 Leadership & Advocacy Summit, February 28–March 3 in Washington, DC. This dual meeting offers leaders and advocates specialized educational sessions focused on effective surgeon leadership, interactive advocacy training, and coordinated visits to Congressional offices.

The Leadership & Advocacy Summit Resident Travel Award will cover up to $500 in housing and transportation costs. This may also include your registration fees, but it may NOT cover food/beverage charges as all meals are provided at the conference. You must be a US-based Resident member in good standing with ÎÚÑ»´«Ã½to be eligible for one of these scholarships.

The deadline to apply is Friday, November 14, and the application must include:

  • Your institution and year of residency  
  • A summary (no longer than one page) explaining why this opportunity interests you, what you hope to gain from it, and how you plan to utilize the knowledge you obtain
  • Your proposed travel dates
