Staff of the ÎÚÑ»´«Ã½ have always played a very active role in the annual Clinical Congress, from helping out at registration, staffing offices that answer needs of Congress attendees, and assisting with the convocation.
In recent years, staff members have been visibly present at the ÎÚÑ»´«Ã½Member Information Services booth, either in the main exhibit hall or just outside it. Here, trauma program staff members (below) assist Congress attendees with computer-based resources, and tell them about the latest services provided by the College to its members. Through the decades, ÎÚÑ»´«Ã½staff members have been the “Face of the ACS” to all Fellows with whom they interact with—at the host-city convention center and at the ÎÚÑ»´«Ã½headquarters hotel.
ÎÚÑ»´«Ã½Archives Highlights is a series showcasing the vibrant history of the ÎÚÑ»´«Ã½, its members, and the history of surgery. For further information on our featured highlights, search the or contact the ÎÚÑ»´«Ã½Archivist.
